Jack made it to the west coast, and began working his way down. He's getting to enjoy some truly stunning views!
Jack's cross-country Crosstrek trek, part one!
Jack is taking a six-week sojourn across the country (across the top, down the side, across the bottom, and up the other side back to us) before he rejoins us in our reconditioning department. On his way, he'll be sharing the scenes seen along the way!
Honestly, it sounds like an amazing way to spend half a summer. We're both grateful and envious of the pictures he's sending our way!

Lookin' a little different
You might see something on Fridays you might not expect from the crew at Stanley Subaru this year: denim. We are reviving Jeans for a Cause. Our team is invited to make a cash donation to a community fund. After donating, our employees can show off their comfort and support for our community by wearing jeans the Friday after their donation.
And the community fund? Each quarter, a local nonprofit will benefit the total collected!
So, don't be surprised to find jeans this year at Stanley Subaru. It's just another part of our commitment to our community!
Responding to the recognition
Shortly after the announcement that Stanley Subaru would receive the Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce’s Top Drawer Award for connection with their community, Subaru of New England named Stanley Subaru 2020's Love Promise Retailer of the Year.
“I was surprised and delighted,” said owner Mark Politte. “Having a positive impact in our community is part of our mission statement.”
Love Promise Retailer of the Year!
Subaru of New England named Stanley Subaru 2020's Love Promise Retailer of the Year! The Love Promise Retailer of the Year is given out to only one of the sixty-four Subaru Dealerships in New England each year to recognize that dealer for exceptional dedication to embracing Subaru’s culture of making the world a better place.
Top Drawer Award
The Ellsworth Area Chamber of Commerce announced it will honor Stanley Subaru with its prestigious Top Drawer Award for 2021.
“Stanley Subaru is the epitome of what the Top Drawer Award stands for,” Chamber Board President Tom Wheeler said in announcing the honor. “There is no doubt that they are connected to their community at the highest level. They continue to find new and unique ways to get involved, which makes our area a better place to live and work,” Wheeler said.
The Floral Heart Project
On March 1st we will present The Floral Heart Project, a COVID-19 Memorial effort, in our communities. Stanley Subaru is co-sponsoring the project with The Bud Connection for our county. We will lay floral hearts locally in Blue Hill and Ellsworth in conjunction with cities and towns across the country.
I got a warranty thing in the mail. Is this real?
I got a warranty thing in the mail that says mine is about to expire. I thought I had a Subaru warranty. Is this real?
Short answer: no.
Long answer: no, almost certainly not.
Real long answer, including why you got it:

Helping out at the Bar Harbor Food Pantry
Stanley Subaru was happy to gather a crew early this Thursday morning to trek to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry. There we got to work with the fantastic crew that dedicate their time to ensuring the people in our community have something to eat. A truck arrived with pallets of food that needed to be brought in, sorted, and stored so it could be delivered over the course of the month.
Stanley Subaru and Stanley Chevrolet Buick
We're growing. In a big way.
Dutch Chevrolet Buick in Belfast is becoming Stanley Chevrolet Buick. In Belfast. That part didn't change. We aren't wizards.
Greg Dutch reached out to Mark Politte of Stanley Subaru last year. He knew he wanted to ensure his dealership would be led by someone who understood, respected, and would honor the Dutch family's 94-year legacy of quality delivery of vehicles and service.
Outstanding community spirit in the Blue Hill Peninsula
Stanley Subaru prioritizes the health and wellbeing of our community, and we are happy to highlight some of the excellent work people are doing in our area to do the same. Haystack's Fab Lab and Blue Hill's Idea Center are making face shields and giving them for free to those who need them. They are working in actual around-the-clock shifts to 3-D print, laser cut, and manufacture the personal protective equipment.
Stanley Subaru was more than happy to buy supplies to make hundreds of masks for the folks in our area.
