After a few years working as an engineer, Mark Politte joined the automotive world in 1994 to work for Ford Motor Company. A dynamic career with Ford led Mark, and his wife Samantha, to many assignments and cities throughout the United States. In 2005, he fulfilled a childhood dream by purchasing Stanley Subaru.
Mark and his wife Samantha are very proud as the owners of Stanley Subaru, but are even more proud of their three children. In 2004 they decided to make Down East Maine their home fulfilling their desire to put down roots, be active contributing members of a small community, and raise their family in a supportive and value based environment.
Since purchasing Stanley Subaru, the dealership has received numerous awards and accolades including twice receiving Subaru's most prestigious "President's Award". Most recently Stanley Subaru was recognized as a Stellar Care dealer, an award bestowed on an elite few for exceptional customer (guests) relationships.
Mark is particularly pleased that the dealership participates in many community events and in the last seven years has actively supported over 20 local charities through hours, financial support, goods, and services-work he says is critical to Stanley Subaru's long term success in this small community.

Kevin was born and raised in Maine and graduated from Livermore Falls High School in 1987. He also attended the University of Maine at Machias where he graduated in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in business management and marketing. He has two boys, Kurt and Kyle.
Kevin says, "At Stanley Subaru our guests satisfaction is everything. It starts with the right employees who can surprise and delight our guests on a daily basis." He's personally committed to making sure this happens everyday in the dealership.

Darren lives in Otis with his wife Sophia and their four children. Darren Zajdel was born in Ipswich, England. He came to Stanley Subaru after serving in the US Air Force and working construction.
Like many a Mainer, he spends time fishing with his friends or hiking with his family whenever he can. Can being the keyword, because he has a growing little passel of cats, chickens, and dogs they tend to. And if none of the above are available, there's always video games.

Since joining Stanley Subaru in 2012, Jason has become a cornerstone of our team, leveraging over two decades of experience in the automotive industry that began in 1998. His background includes distinguished service in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed at various locations across the U.S., Europe, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia, before making his mark in the automotive world.
Outside of his professional life, Jason and his wife enjoy spending time together playing board games and exploring the stunning trails and mountains of Acadia. Additionally, Jason is a passionate guitarist who loves creating music.

Prior to joining Stanley Subaru's Sales Department in February of 2007, Kelly attended University of Maine at Machias earning a Bachelor's degree in English with a minor in History. Though initially planning to teach high school English, she took a position in sales and found she loved the field, working for eleven years as a Sales Consultant and Sales Manager at several newspapers in both the Portland and Hancock County areas.
Originally from East Machias, a small town up the coast, Kelly now resides in Northeast Harbor with her partner, one small dog and a trio of kitties. Living in such close proximity to Acadia National Park affords Kelly the opportunity to indulge in some of her favorite hobbies, hiking and kayaking. She also enjoys reading, gardening and genealogy.

Bill is a Bar Harbor native who has managed businesses all over the country including in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New York, and even the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
After years of working in the restaurant service industry, Bill wanted to try his hand at cars, but only if he could work at Stanley Subaru. Having bought two cars with Stanley Subaru before, he wanted to be part of our commitment to our guests.

- Lynden moved to the Bucksport area in 2015, having lived in Bangor previously. He has been a member of the Stanley Subaru team since 2018 serving in roles such as Sales Consultant, Service Advisor. He chose Stanley Subaru because he loved the way they went above and beyond the expectations of their guests.He worked previously in the Aviation industry, but wanted to try his hand at selling the best vehicles on the market. In his free time, you'll find him at the nearest airport photographing planes or cruising around town in his WRX with his dog Bo, a golden retriever rescue. Collin was born in Bar Harbor and raised in the heart of Ellsworth, Maine. Collin enjoys being in the sun and on the pontoon with friends and family. Collin also loves nature; in his free time, he enjoys snapping photos of all the wonderful life in the forest and all the sea life as well. Collin graduated from EHS in 2019 where he entered the Stanley family as a reconditioning technician, then went to our service department and now is our Subaru Service Ambassador and Rental Manager. Collin is always ready to lend a hand to our guests and make their experience as enjoyable as possible. If you ever need a Rental Car or Service, stop in and say hi, we are always here to help!

- Stanley Subaru lost a family member, Steve Bailey, on December 23, 2012. Steve was a strong fighter in his battle with cancer, and remained brave and strong for his wife and son. Although we are relieved Steve is no longer in pain, we are deeply saddened and heartbroken for his family and friends. Thank you Steve for the years we shared with you and your smile will live on through your son, Corbin. May you rest in peace. Steve moved to Maine to be closer to his wife Michelle's family and recently welcomed their first child, Corbin.

Dawn was born in Maine and grew up in Connecticut. She has been in the automotive industry since 1986. Dawn has spent every vacation in Maine since her parents moved back 25 years ago. Dawn moved to Maine to spend more time with her parents. Dawn started at Stanley Subaru in October of 2009. When Dawn is not pulling out her hair due to Mark's antics, you will find her driving her convertible to the lake.
Dawn was a beautiful soul and we miss her greatly. Our deepest condolences go out to her friends and family.
