At Stanley Subaru, we take great pride in supporting local charities and causes that benefit the members of our communities and the things that mean most to them. That's why we're happy to announce that we're celebrating the 4th annual National Make a Dog's Day event. The event is sponsored by Subaru, together with the ASPCA. From November 17th through January 3rd, 2023, you can help support animals in need by buying or leasing a new Subaru vehicle and we'll donate $250 to your choice of four national charities or a hometown charity around Ellsworth…

In October, Stanley Subaru ran Test Drives for the Cure, a program where they would donate $10 to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital patients' cancer care for every test drive taken. All told, Stanley Subaru donated over $2000 to get local cancer patients the care they need this year! Stanley Subaru's owner, Mark Politte, even came to the hospital to hand out crab-shaped cookies to the staff and patients of the Mary Dow Center and Breast Health Clinic!
Stanley Subaru is an Acadia Centennial Partner
Stanley Subaru has been part of the Hancock County community for sixteen years, and we are committed to showing our community as much love and support as we have received. That's why Stanley Subaru supports arts programs, education, animal welfare, and local healthcare. Acadia National Park directly impacts all of these areas and has given Stanley Subaru, the state of Maine, and our country so much in the past 100 years that we want to do our part to ensure its success for another 100 and beyond.
"I want to thank you" from Down East Hospice Volunteers

Dear Mr. Patterson King:
I want to thank you personally for the very generous donation of your time and technical talents in support of our 25th Anniversary 10k/5k benefit race. Your many hours of help with Facebook and Pay Pal and more was invaluable. We are lucky, indeed, to have businesses near and far so willing to help us in this effort. The work you did with our two 'tech experts' helped us find new ways to meet expenses and make this important fundraiser a success. It is especially meaningful because our volunteers don't cover Hancock County, although…
Stanley Subaru Shares $10,000 worth of Love with the Grand
We popped by The Grand yesterday to deliver $10,000 donated through Share the Love.

During “Share the Love” which ran from November 19, 2015 through January 2, 2016, Stanley Subaru guests who purchased a new Subaru could select from a list of charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America. This year, Subaru will donate $15 million dollars to participating charities. Over the last seven years, Subaru of America has donated $50 million to a number of worth causes through the “Share the Love” event.
The Winter Boot Bash is a hit with help from Stanley Subaru!

"Everything we do at [Camp Beech Cliff] is to get people connected with nature, each other and their best selves,” says Debra Deal, Executive Director. The Acadia Winter Festival was a celebration of winter in Acadia National Park and surrounding communities and culminated in Camp Beech Cliff's Winter Boot Bash, a benefit dance to raise funds for camp programs. Winter is a magical time of year to investigate wildlife, reunite with old friends over a cup of cocoa, learn a new skill, and enjoy a fun winter activity.”
Stanley Subaru Helps Fill School Pantries for Hungry Students
We just completed one of our most successful food drives yet!
About 1 in 4 students in Maine is food insecure. Undernourishment deeply affects students' lives including reducing their ability to learn, which further impacts their future. Food insecurity is a terrible problem, and Stanley Subaru is making efforts to solve it. We partnered with WABI TV5 and the Maine Education Association in 2015 to End Student Hunger.

We love our community. We love being a part of down east Maine. We are so grateful to every one of our guests who make us feel welcome. Because we love our community, we are always looking for ways to help where there is a need. Unfortunately, in Maine and in Hancock County in particular, there is a great need for children to get enough to eat. Which is why we are continuing our partnership with the Maine Education Association and WABI TV5.
