Subaru Express Service is a fairly new feature available to our neck of the woods. Heather gives you the scoop on what it is and how it'll keep you on the road.

Subarus are fun. You've seen the commercials. They do all kinds of stuff! Sometimes it's hard to think beyond your day-to-day with your Subaru, but Jen wants to give you a couple ideas for getting out and about.

We try to make buying a car as easy-going, transparent, and enjoyable a process as possible. Your relationship with your car is idiosyncratic, and it is something that, even when it's an easy process, takes some care. Tony has a lot of experience finding the right car for the the right person, and he shares the top three things that will help you pick the perfect car for you.

Cleaning your car is great. A clean car is pleasant to drive, improves road visibility, increases the lifespan of your car, and raises trade-in/sale value of your car. Reconditioning and detailing expert Jeremy enumerates the three things that will help you the most.

Stanley Subaru presented the new Executive Director of the The Grand a check for $20,000—the culmination of Subaru's Share the Love Event. Members of the Stanley Subaru team joined owner Mark Politte as well as Subaru of New England District Manager Bill Bergeon to celebrate with Executive Director Nick Turner and members of The Grand board of directors.

To honor the successful installation of the Grand's new digital projector, Stanley Subaru offered the Grand honorary awards in addition to the check, small golden figures emblematic of film success.

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently tested the 2017 Subaru Impreza, and well, the Impreza did a good job. We'll let the IIHS tell it: "The redesigned Subaru Impreza, a small car, is the latest winner of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, thanks to top ratings for crash protection, a superior-rated front crash prevention system and good-rated headlights." And per IIHS's twitter, "This car managed to ace every test."

Some of us are lucky enough to have dogs that enjoy every car ride. Some of us are not quite so lucky. Thankfully, it is possible to teach a dog to enjoy road trips so you can make it to your favorite hikes and campsites.

Teaching a dog to like car rides is based on a simple idea. Simple doesn't always mean easy, so working with your dog may take a little more effort than someone else with another dog, but it is totally possible to teach your dog to love riding along with its family.

Construction is coming along! While we are working on improving the showroom and service entrance, we have temporarily moved all operations over to the annex. So for everything service, parts, rental, or sales related, you will want to visit the annex. The annex is on the right side of the street if you are heading to Bar Harbor or on the left side if you are heading into Ellsworth.

The Stanley Subaru family is hurting. We lost Georgette Himes-Richardson (Geddy) to cancer. We love Geddy and miss her terribly. She was the very first employee of Stanley Subaru and was a huge part of building us into the organization we are today. She embodied all the virtues we strive for – exceptional service and attention to our guests, a force for good on our team, and a positive contributor to our community. Our deepest sympathies are with her family. We love Geddy and will continue to try to do right by her.
