Rotating your tires saves you money. A proper tire rotation will ensure even wear on your tires. Even wear on your tires extends the life of your tires. Longer life on your tires means you don't have to buy as many. And not only that! Even tire wear also improves your gas mileage, and that saves you money at the pump. Ensuring even wear on your tires is much better on your suspension (reducing maintenance on that), which means it will improve handling and performance as well as reducing road noise.
We were recently interviewed for the Subaru Eco-Friendly Newsletter about our certification! We're really proud of our achievements, and we were honored that Subaru wanted to talk to us about what we accomplished. The interview is reproduced below.

Last month, Krystal and Heather ran a little rescue mission with the help of one our guests, Karen.
"I was there for a routine service, and it was a very warm day, probably the warmest day we've had so far this year. I was in the waiting area, and there was a big kind of commotion, and people were oohing and ahhing over something in the service department," says Karen. It was baby squirrels!
We're partnering with Healthy Acadia to support community health programming across the Downeast region. Our detailing guests this month will have the option to have us donate to one of Healthy Acadia’s local efforts: early childhood development, tobacco prevention and cessation, and anti-hunger/food security work.
“We are honored to work with Stanley Subaru to highlight these community health needs”, shared Shoshona Smith of Healthy Acadia. “And it’s wonderful to think you can get a car service and feel like you’re making a positive difference in the community at the same time.”
Patients in the Mary Dow Center received a special delivery on June 27 as Stanley Subaru delivered 80 blankets and 10 arts and craft kits to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital as part of a partnership with Subaru of America and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Stanley Subaru Sales Manager Charlie Skovgaard says, “we’re excited that Subaru is offering this program, because it gives us another way to support patients in our community.” Since 2009, Stanley Subaru has raised over $12,000 for cancer care at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital through Test Drives for the Cure each October.
A huge thanks to all our guests for making this possible and for showing up to support us. We made these improvements to make our business better for you, and we couldn't be more grateful. As part of that thanks, we are inviting everyone to visit our open house, either June 17th from 11 am - 2 pm or June 24th from 11 am - 2 pm (or both!). We want to show you what we did and how that will benefit you.

Stanley Subaru has one more graduate of Leadership Hancock County in our ranks! Spencer, our Communications Coordinator, graduated earlier this month and joins Dawn (our Comptroller), Jen (Service Advisor), John (Sales Manager), Kevin (Sales Manager), and Neil (Service Manager) as a one of our local leaders.*

On April 29, 2017 the greater Ellsworth area community came together to raise funds for new, three-dimensional mammographic imaging technology for the Breast Clinic at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital.
?Over 400 guests toasted the successful fundraiser and danced the night away at this year’s event, raising over $60,000. Stanley Subaru's support for the event included the photo booth sponsorship which provided guests fun keepsakes for the evening.
We spent last week driving to dozens of local schools to thank educators as part of Teacher Appreciation Week!

We are nearly done with our remodel! We have a few final touches, but we are proud to give guests access to the new and better Stanley Subaru, the best dealership in downeast! We are back to our wonderful drive-through-access service area on the east side of the road–remodeled, refined, reinvigorated to provide you on-demand access to our award-winning service department. Our connected showroom is once again available there, too. (Don't worry, we still have our showroom on the other side of the street ready to help you, too!)
