The Smart Choice!

This is the tenth year of Test Drives for the Cure. For every test drive taken in October, Stanley Subaru donated $10 to Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital's cancer screening and treatment. Since the program started in 2009, Stanley Subaru has donated $17,500 to Northern Light Maine Coast's Breast Health Clinic and Mary Dow Center.
You might take them for granted -- until it rains, and suddenly your safety depends on them. Windshield wipers always need to stay in top condition because you never know when you'll need them to help you see the road.

We make flu shots available to our employees, our guests, and their families for free at Stanley Subaru, because a flu shot is a quick, simple way to improve the health of everyone in our community. It helps the people getting the flu shot, their friends, their families, their neighbors, and honestly everyone they meet.
We love doing it, and we're so glad so many of our guests took us up on the offer this year. Thank you for doing your part!

Where can I get my car detailed? Who in Maine cleans cars like new? Us! How lucky are you?
Stanley Subaru is supporting down east cancer patients with Test Drives for the Cure. For every test drive taken in October, we will donate $10 to the care of patients at the Breast Health Clinic at Northern Light Health Maine Coast Hospital. No purchase is necessary, and the money will be donated in your name. Ten minutes of your time could help save a local life!

Schedule your test drive, visit us at 22 Bar Harbor Road, or call 207-667-4641 to set up an appointment so you can do your part for local cancer care.
Every dollar you spend on maintenance and repairs at Stanley Subaru is eligible toward tires. When you purchase a new vehicle at Stanley Subaru, we offer you Tires for Life 2.0. There is absolutely no cost to you! We make it available to you as a thank you for being our guest.
Why pay for tires on a new Subaru? Our guests don't.

Road dust, fuel system condensation and engine-oil sludge are unseen enemies that can cause harm to your engine, or prevent it from working at its best. Your best defense? Come get genuine Subaru filter replacements to help ensure that your engine lives a healthy, high-mileage life. When each filter needs replacement varies, but you can always look it up in your manual or on our maintenance schedule.

Ooh! Ooh! We do!
Call and talk to us at 207-667-4641. We buy all makes. A good vehicle is a good vehicle, and we have a used car department where we sell all kinds of makes and models. We will pay off your loan and give you the leftover cash. We'll even give you a ride home!

We are kicking off our drive for pet supplies Saturday, September 15th here alongside our friends at SPCA of Hancock County. They'll be here with pets for adoption!
We'll be gathering food and goodies from September 15th through September 28th here at the Stanley Subaru showroom. On September 29th, we'll have the Forester at the 10th Annual SPCA of Hancock County Pet Fair & Family Fun Day at Woodlawn Museum for a final push!

We all know that tires wear. There are certain things you, as an owner, can do to help minimize this wear and prolong the life of your tires (and save money!).

This is perhaps the single most important thing you can do.
When you start your vehicle, the check engine light comes on momentarily to test the engine/emission control system and bulb. The system is self-diagnostic and the light is a way to communicate trouble. The system is designed to function in a "limp home" mode when trouble occurs and the light comes on - and stays on. However, take your vehicle to an authorized Subaru dealer right away.
You take your dog in your vehicle with you because of course you do. Why have a dog if you're not going to spoil it, after all? Camping, hiking, or just sunny days in a park are all great excuses for a drive with your canid comrade. But as a dog owner, you know that a regular vacuum isn't going to pick up dog fur out of upholstery. If you just want your car clear of doggie detritus without necessarily springing for the full shebang to make your vehicle like-new, we offer a doggie detail just for you…
