The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently tested the 2017 Subaru Impreza, and well, the Impreza did a good job. We'll let the IIHS tell it: "The redesigned Subaru Impreza, a small car, is the latest winner of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's 2017 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award, thanks to top ratings for crash protection, a superior-rated front crash prevention system and good-rated headlights." And per IIHS's twitter, "This car managed to ace every test."

Construction is coming along! While we are working on improving the showroom and service entrance, we have temporarily moved all operations over to the annex. So for everything service, parts, rental, or sales related, you will want to visit the annex. The annex is on the right side of the street if you are heading to Bar Harbor or on the left side if you are heading into Ellsworth.

The new Subaru Impreza continues to improve on one of the most award-winning vehicles available.

We are getting ready to put the finishing touches on our new service department! When we're done, we will be able to handle all our guests' needs for regularly scheduled maintenance on-demand without an appointment!

We not only have our lifts and everything, our reconditioning department has gotten to work! (Which is good. The old reconditioning building doesn't exist anymore.) Get more information about our remodel and check out all the time-lapse videos.

In October, Stanley Subaru ran Test Drives for the Cure, a program where they would donate $10 to Maine Coast Memorial Hospital patients' cancer care for every test drive taken. All told, Stanley Subaru donated over $2000 to get local cancer patients the care they need this year! Stanley Subaru's owner, Mark Politte, even came to the hospital to hand out crab-shaped cookies to the staff and patients of the Mary Dow Center and Breast Health Clinic!

Construction is underway for improving our showroom! Don Cookson from WABI TV5 came out to talk to Mark Politte about everything going on.

Share the Love is Subaru's annual event that lets Subaru owners give back to their favorite charities. For every new Subaru purchased or leased between November 17 and January 3, Subaru will donate $250 to charity.

Our guests can choose whether to share that money across multiple charities, or choose one charity to receive the full $250 to go to their cause. Meals on Wheels, The National Park Foundation, Make-A-Wish, and the ASPCA are the national charities, and at Stanley Subaru, we are once again supporting The Grand here in Ellsworth.

Subaru offered a peek at the Los Angeles Auto Show to some exciting developments for people who liked our last third-row option:
