    This skiff is a customized version of this:  https://www.woodenboat.com/boat-plans-kits/babson-14

    Built by Hews and Co., it has a custom 1" thick bottom with oak runners for extra protection.  It also has a reinforced transom designed to accommodate the 5hp Mercury outboard motor.    Also has a custom U shaped rear seat.

    In 2017 The boat was sent back to Hewes and Co. for complete refurbishment.
