Our efforts to eliminate wait times are underway!

We mentioned last time that we are looking to open more space to increase our service access. We love our guests, but we know you want to be able to get service without an appointment, and we are taking concrete steps* to make that happen. We have begun the work to expand service access by the annex.

Teacher Appreciation Month

May is Teacher Appreciation Month, and last week was Teacher Appreciation Week. We have celebrated Teacher Appreciation Month for years at Stanley Subaru. We believe that great teachers are not only inspirational figures for students, but they are keystones in our community.

As part of a humble thank you to the incredible teachers in our community, we are providing complimentary oil changes and 27-point inspections to them this month. Teachers received a small note with how to redeem the offer at their convenience along with flowers and balloons arranged by The Bud Connection.

500 × 247

Thank you! Stanley Subaru has enjoyed being part of a wonderful community for over 16 years, and it has been possible because of our fantastic guests.

With this appreciation in mind we'd like to apologize to you for not always being available when you want to have your vehicle serviced. Our growth as part of this great community has stressed our service department and resulted in long wait times for reservations. We are grateful for your patience, but we know you deserve better, and we will do better for you!

Our goal is to be available to you whenever…

The Winter Boot Bash is a hit with help from Stanley Subaru!

500 × 375

"Everything we do at [Camp Beech Cliff] is to get people connected with nature, each other and their best selves,” says Debra Deal, Executive Director. The Acadia Winter Festival was a celebration of winter in Acadia National Park and surrounding communities and culminated in Camp Beech Cliff's Winter Boot Bash, a benefit dance to raise funds for camp programs. Winter is a magical time of year to investigate wildlife, reunite with old friends over a cup of cocoa, learn a new skill, and enjoy a fun winter activity.”

Stanley Subaru Helps Fill School Pantries for Hungry Students

We just completed one of our most successful food drives yet!

About 1 in 4 students in Maine is food insecure. Undernourishment deeply affects students' lives including reducing their ability to learn, which further impacts their future. Food insecurity is a terrible problem, and Stanley Subaru is making efforts to solve it. We partnered with WABI TV5 and the Maine Education Association in 2015 to End Student Hunger.

Good news pouring out of Stanley Subaru!

We are happy to say the state of Maine confirms that we have some of the best possible water you can drink! Not only was everything good and at acceptable levels, we had some of the best possible readings in almost every category! Which means not only is our water great, but whenever you have tea, coffee, or cocoa, you're getting some great quality brew!

We also have loads of great news from our service department! Chris Williams passed his final ASE in December and is officially Subaru Master Certified!

Food drive to end hunger in local schools

We love our community. We love being a part of down east Maine. We are so grateful to every one of our guests who make us feel welcome. Because we love our community, we are always looking for ways to help where there is a need. Unfortunately, in Maine and in Hancock County in particular, there is a great need for children to get enough to eat. Which is why we are continuing our partnership with the Maine Education Association and WABI TV5.
