Hi, my name is Jason from Stanley Subaru, and these are my top three tips for researching cars online.

Tip number 1 is using manufacturer websites and third-party resources to get your best set of information. Sites like StanleySubaru.com, for example, Consumer Reports, Edmunds, Kelley Blue Book, as well as other third-party sites that will not only give you expert opinions and reviews but also actual owner feedback.

Tip number 2 is using vehicle history websites like CarFax or AutoCheck so you can find out any information, especially on pre-owned cars you’re considering. It will tell you where the car came from. It will tell you if the car’s been in any accidents. How many owners has it had? A lot of important information, especially when you’re researching used cars.

And my last tip is researching the dealership you’re considering doing business with– checking their Facebook reviews, google reviews, DealerRater, anything that will give you a better understanding of how the dealer conducts business, and is that the kind of place you would like to do business?

Those are my three tips. Again my name is Jason from Stanley Subaru, your smart choice on the Bar Harbor Road in Ellsworth.
