Sometimes, you dial a number wrong. It happens. What probably doesn't usually happen is spending the next five minutes talking about how great Subarus are. Unless you're us!

Here's a lightly-edited version of the conversation we had:

GUEST: But yeah, let's see, I'm in Ohio. It's a long way to go to Maine to get an oil change.

STANLEY SUBARU: That's a very good point. I don't know if it'd be worth it, honestly. I mean, it's good oil, but even still.

GUEST: Yeah. If I could get a tour of Kennebunkport, you know, and go into the bushes, maybe I'd come up.

STANLEY SUBARU: You know, if you made it all the way out here, I'm sure we'd be happy to show you around.

GUEST: I do own a Subaru, though. I love it. It's my second one. I had a forester. One of my neighbors, I go, Hey, John. I go, what's going on? And he goes, my car won't start. I go, your car won't start? And he goes, Yeah, can you give me a jump? And I says, okay, jump in and see, and it turn right over. He goes, do you know what's wrong with my car? I go, I know exactly what's wrong with your car. And he goes, What is it? I go, you don't drive it enough. I go, if you ever get rid of that car, you let me know. It was a '99 Subaru Forester with all the goodies. And it only had like thirty-some thousand miles. But anyways, I got it for like five grand, you know, then my wife is a visiting nurse. That was her office on wheels and the other nurses they got stuck in snow and all that. She said that little sucker just plowed right through everything. And I had that that vehicle for I couldn't tell you how many years and then I went out and I got a different one. And I got an Outback this time. It's great vehicle.
