We want to thank Dave Cookson for his consistently outstanding work for us as a service writer. Despite all our best efforts to keep him here forever, Dave retired.
On Thursday, we had a cookout for him to visit with us and our guests one more time. There were lots of hugs, and almost as many goodbyes. Dave was quick to remind everyone that attended that he'll be back plenty; he owns a Subaru, after all, and will need it serviced.
David Cookson was born and raised in Old Town, Maine. He is a father of 2 children and lives with his partner, Jean. David has been involved with many different aspects of the automotive world, from running a drag strip, to performance parts centers and repair facilities. He was in the field for over twenty-five years. He enjoys motorcycling, kayaking and music.
Thank you, Dave. We appreciate all you've done for us. Enjoy your retirement.
