New Subaru Vehicles 

Warranties are a major source of confusion and frustration when purchasing a new vehicle, but we are here to help! We have answers to the most frequently asked Warranty Questions and some additional information to help you feel more confident in your discussions about Subaru Warranties. Before we get into warranty questions, let's address Roadside Assistance for a moment. 

Have a flat tire? Run out of gas? Need a tow to the nearest Subaru Service Center? No worries! All New Subaru Vehicles come with Subaru Roadside Assistance. Just Call 1-800-261-2155. 

Subaru Roadside Assistance comes standard on every Subaru from model year 2000 forward.

Includes:

  • Towing to the nearest authorized Subaru dealer if you cannot safely drive your vehicle.
  • Jump-start if your battery is dead.
  • Gasoline delivery if you run out of gas.
  • Flat tire change to install your spare.
  • Emergency lockout service.

BASIC COVERAGE is 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. Subject to the exclusions listed in this warranty, it covers the entire vehicle.  Learn more about optional extended protection beyond the warranty. 


Warranty coverage begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail purchaser. If the vehicle was used as a demonstrator or company vehicle before being sold at retail, warranty coverage begins on the date the vehicle was first placed in such service.

Pre Owned Vehicles


With a Used Subaru, Used Car, Used Truck, or Used SUV, you have several options for Protection Plans. Stanley Subaru offers the following Vehicle Protection Plans:

  • Exclusionary Coverage (Most used vehicles)
  • AmeriGard Primary Care Plus (Most used vehicles)
  • Certified Pre Owned Subaru Coverage (Subaru vehicles only)
  • Subaru Equity Shield-GAP Insurance (Subaru vehicles only)


Lifetime Powertrain Protection

Stanley Subaru offers our Exclusive Lifetime Powertrain Protection  on select Pre Owned Vehicles. Stanley Subaru's Exclusive Lifetime Powertrain Protection means that the risks of buying a pre-owned vehicle are virtually gone! Unlimited Time, Unlimited Miles, for as long as you own the vehicle. This program comes at no additional charge on Select Pre Owned Vehicles. This Lifetime Powertrain Protection is a Rewards Program, a complimentary benefit provided as a "Thank You" for performing just your basic services (oil changes and tire rotations) with us. Exclusionary Coverage 

To protect parts outside the powertrain system, there is Exclusionary Coverage. With Exclusionary Coverage, you have the protection you need far beyond the original warranty period. It takes the worry out of high repair bills. This Exclusionary Coverage extends the coverages of the Lifetime Powertrain Protection and provides additional coverage for the vehicle's  electrical system, fuel delivery, heating and cooling system, air conditioning system, seals and gaskets, brake system, suspension, and steering system.  The Exclusionary Coverage cost depends on the age of the vehicle, the mileage, and the desired mileage coverage you request. The Exclusionary Coverage has no time limit. These additional benefits provide peace of mind, protects you anywhere in the US and Canada, offers roadside assistance, and it is affordable and convenient.



 
AmeriGard Primary Care Plus Mechanical Breakdown Protection

This Mechanical Breakdown Plan includes benefits that cover the engine and water pump, transmission and transaxle, transfer case, air conditioning, towing, and provides a rental benefit. AmeriGard is available with three levels of coverage:
     
     5 years /100,000 miles 
     5 years / 75,000 miles 
     5 years /50,000 miles

Certified Pre-Owned Subaru Coverage

Each Subaru Certified Pre-Owned vehicle passes a thorough 152-point inspection that covers engine operation, emissions,
 electrical system, radiator, brakes, exhaust and more! It will be checked inside and out, from the undercarriage to under the 
hood. Anything not up to Subaru's high standards will be repaired, reconditioned or replaced. Each CPO Subaru is from the 
current or past five model years, and has been driven fewer than 80,000 miles.
