
"Wellness is a marathon, not a sprint"
--These words come from L.L. Bean's Wellness Coordinator, one of the pioneers of workplace-sponsored wellness programs in Maine.
We will continue to update this page with information on tobacco cessation, healthy eating tips and recipes, fitness and physical activities, and how our small changes have turned into big results.
Stanley Subaru employees participated in the EveryBody EveryDay Program, a goal-oriented healthy eating and exercise program. This program was introduced by the Wellness Council of America. A team approach to this sort of competition fosters healthy ways to encourage each other to participate and become healthier. We will also highlight our employees who have taken on specific personal challenges, such as tobacco cessation, joining a new fitness class, and those who have shown success with our programs and guidance.

We had 14 employees complete the 6 week wellness challenge! Everyone earned completion prizes, including Subaru Rally Team gym bags, Stainless Steel Water Bottle, and a certificate of completion. We held a grand prize drawing to determine the Grand Prize Winner, and Dave won an Amazon Kindle!
